Mt. Rainer and Spring Meadow Framed 14 X 18 Acrylic - captures a beautiful day in Washington just after a fresh snowfall had covered the mountain in brilliant white. Against the clear blue sky, the snow-covered peak rises above a landscape filled with the rich greens of spring.
A winding mountain stream leads through the meadow toward Mount Rainier, while tall evergreens and the large tree in the foreground frame the view and create the feeling of standing right there in the forest.
We were fortunate to experience this scene on a gorgeous spring day, just after fresh snow had fallen on the mountain. I wanted to preserve that wonderful contrast—the freshness of the green landscape below and the newly fallen snow glowing on Mount Rainier above.
